This faux finishing message forum is open to all faux finishing and decorative painting enthusiasts...from beginner faux and decorative painters to the seasoned faux finishing professional!
The moderators of Muralsplus will do their best to monitor and delete or contact the webmaster to delete or edit any objectionable posts as soon as we are made aware of them.
By posting to Muralsplus, you agree not to post any abusive, disruptive, slanderous, vulgar, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented, religious and political based messages, or any other material that may violate any applicable state and federal laws.
If you post any of the above type messages, you will be immediately and permanently banned and your ISP will be contacted.
The IP address of all posts are monitored in order to keep those that want to grow and learn from Muralsplus protected and we will enforce these policies.
By posting on Muralsplus, you acknowledge that those involved working in the background of Muralsplus have the ability and right to edit, remove, move or close any post or topic at any time, to keep the message forum valuable, consistant and professional.
Do not post questions regarding a removed post or thread.
Again, that is the right and decision of Muralsplus management.
Since The Faux Finish School® is represented as a moderator on this board, it would not be in the best interests to that program to let school type discussions turn into an "advertising thread" for programs not represented here, or as paid advertisers nor that support this board..
This has happened in the past
Therefore, to avoid this, we are disallowing such "faux school" message threads...
There are other message boards where you can find such discussions..
We suggest:
1. look into The Faux Finish School® program represented here as well as use a search engine such as "Yahoo" and "Google" to find others.
2. You may also e-mail those that have posted here with e-mail addresses, privately, for their recommendations.
3. Do a "keyword search" for "schools" on this board and you will find tons of previous info.
We also do not allow threads or discussions on politics and, or religion.
This is the most active faux painting and decorative finishing message board on the internet, and we need to set parameters to keep it professional.

Concerning advertising, spamming, and non-faux info:
Advertising of other faux finishing programs, products, tradeshows, competitive websites, their students as well as manufacturer reps "suggesting" their products, offering samples and such..to "reap" the benefits of the traffic coming to Muralsplus is not permitted on this board. Asking a question such as "Anybody know what this product is" or "Anybody use a certain product" is considered spamming the forum. It has no technical or help information and soon the board turns into an "Advertisment". This is not the purpose of Muralsplus. This board is not a public marketing tool for posting or private e-mailing. If you are not a paid advertiser, please do not abuse this policy or you will be removed from Muralsplus.
When we let such messages be posted in the past, it turned into an advertising forum, therefore, we disallow such postings as well as private e-mailing.
This is not a forum for other advertising, credits to companies and spamming messages
nor is it a message forum to private e-mail in the background, information that what not be deemed allowable, or fit within the parameters of this site.
Examples would be "private e-mailing different product information or school information" to a posting member in order to promote an agenda not supported by this forum.

Understand, We do not want the technical areas of the forum cluttered with non-technical information....
